10-part series of interactive drawings and short stories for Politiken newspaper, Denmark. As in nature, so too of the Metropole. We mythologise cities; and in so doing we turn our perceptions into an identity of a place and its inhabitants. Subconscious or conscious, we absorb the city; comparing and contrasting both the extraordinary and the ordinary with that which we are accustomed to. Aligned like the spines of books, pierced with windows into their meaning the world’s skylines are storehouses of knowledge the size of human minds; awaiting interpretation. Having fed on the different stories, experiences and perceptions of these different cities, each drawing will be a visual response to these environments, creating windows for viewers to immerse themselves into these different Metropoles.
