The residency in Brooklyn, ran by creative entrepreneur Michael Yarinsky came about on recommendation through my friend Anne, now working together with Reform – who also share a space with Cooler Gallery. The 1-month residency was committed to line-finding – that is, experiencing the various dimensions of NYC and making every effort to record such into drawings, collages and stories. To complete the residency, together with the gallery, Leslie Dugood, and Kayrock we also created an NYC screenprint edition which went on to be featured at MoMa design store, SoHo.
